There also needs to be an overhaul with the commendation and I think this new system can basically serve the needs of getting commendation exp and most importantly Bringing back Exploration!
Star Trek Online has some exploration but not enough. Its the big big big most important thing Starfleet does its main mission and main mission above all other priorities other then maybe the Omega Directive is exploring strange new worlds and seeking out new life.
A future based upon Exploring strange new worlds seeking out new life and civilizations to boldly go where no man has gone before. Has been about what humanity could become.
